The locket is 27mm across.

This locket necklace is customizable – you can pick antique silver, antique gold, or aged teal green for the compass. The locket, itself, comes in a gold, or antique silver plating. You can choose an antique silver, sterling silver, gold filled, or rose gold filled chain.

Please note that the antiquing of each antique silver locket will vary. The inside of each locket may be a little different. The back of the locket may have small imperfections, adding to the natural beauty and vintage nature of this locket.

Photos can be added to this locket. We will size, print and laminate any photos you purchase for this locket.

If you purchase the addition of one or two photos you need to choose one or two photos in the drop down and then upload photos. If you choose one photo, we will add one photo. The Details

Gold filled and rose gold filled jewelry contains 100% more real gold than gold plated jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is made with a thick layer of real solid 14k gold. Gold filled jewelry has the advantage of being tarnish resistant and durable. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors, and can easily be worn by people with sensitive skin.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and considered a precious metal. The remaining 7.5% of the alloy is usually copper, adding strength while preserving the appearance of the pure silver. Sterling silver is also okay for most sensitive skin.

Both sterling silver and gold filled jewelry will tarnish less if stored appropriately – in something airtight – and kept clean and dry. I have found that the more I wear my sterling silver jewelry, the less it tarnishes.
