A few years ago, when I was going through a hard time, I wanted a visual reminder EVERY day of how I was going to make it through that hard time. I bought two bracelets with words on them that I could look at every day in the midst of the challenge to remind me that I could make it through a hard time. Since then we’ve added pieces to GiGisPetals with meaningful words in order to help remind other people that they, too, can make it through hard times, or just remind them to find joy.

Choose your size in 0.25 inch increments. We suggest choosing the size just larger than your actual wrist size.

These blues or pinks mama bracelets are made with gold filled, sterling silver or rose gold filled beads with acrylic beads in pinks or blues with gold letters and white beads with gold heart. *Please note that the blues and pinks will NOT be the exact same color combos pictured. They will be a mix of blues and pinks, based on bead color availability. If you choose this bracelet with sterling silver or rose gold beads the letters on the beads will still be gold.

FOR SIZING: Please choose the size closest to your wrist size. This bracelet usually fits best if it is 0.25 inches larger than your wrist measurement. If you know your wrist measurement, you can choose “Custom” in the drop down menu and leave the actual wrist size in the personalization box at checkout. If you chose a wrist size in the drop down box, please leave n/a in the personalization box.

The Details

Gold filled and rose gold filled jewelry contains 100% more real gold than gold plated jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is made with a thick layer of real solid 14k gold. Gold filled jewelry has the advantage of being tarnish resistant and durable. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors, and can easily be worn by people with sensitive skin.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and considered a precious metal. The remaining 7.5% of the alloy is usually copper, adding strength while preserving the appearance of the pure silver. Sterling silver is also okay for most sensitive skin.

Both sterling silver and gold filled jewelry will tarnish less if stored appropriately – in something airtight – and kept clean and dry. I have found that the more I wear my sterling silver jewelry, the less it tarnishes.

All sterling silver and gold filled jewelry will come with a polishing cloth and all sterling silver jewelry will come with an anti tarnish paper to help with the care of your jewelry purchased through GiGisPetals. Jewelry that tarnishes can easily be repolished and look as good as new!
